Our much-loved community newspaper, Together in Batley, has run out of funding. But we’re not giving up—we believe in the power of good news and the importance of keeping our community connected. Our printed editions are brilliant for those who may not be online or who feel isolated. These copies go directly to places like the foodbank, Batley Library, the Salvation Army, community centres, and sheltered housing. For many, Together in Batley is more than just a newspaper—it’s a connection to their community, a source of positivity, and a way to stay informed about local events and services.
We want to continue printing 1,000 copies every two months, but each edition costs £950 to produce. We’re aiming to crowdfund in March/May to make this possible. If 100 businesses donated just £10 each, we could print another edition. Could you chip in and help us reach our goal of 6 editions?
