BBC at Batley Library!

This World Book Day, March 2nd, the BBC presenters Ben Shires and Konnie Huq will be broadcasting live from Batley Library as part of the BBC Teach Live Lessons initiative.

In a live lesson specially aimed at children 7-11 years old, they will be talking to authors including Michael Rosen, and Kevin and Katie Tsang about genre, characters and storytelling. The programme will be fully interactive and hopes to promote reading for pleasure among children.

The show will be available to watch on CBBC at 11am on Thursday 2nd March. Batley Library will be closed that day, but will reopen on Friday 3rd March at 10am.
